For this
project we have chosen two narrators. They are Federico I.G. and Jesús M.G. We
are going to write a little bit about them bellow.
Federico,
the second of three siblings, was born in Zaragoza in 1960. He and his family
lived in a little village 50 km far from Barcelona, where his father worked in the chemistry
sector. In 1974 they moved to Barcelona city, where he finished his compulsory
studies and started a telecommunications degree in the University. Then he
started working in a few projects until he entered in an international company,
where he has been working for more than 20 years as commercial.
We chose
him as one of our narrators because during the Olympic Games in Barcelona in
1992 he lived and worked very near and he was able to see the changes in the
city and many interesting things that happened and that can enrich our project.
On the
other side, Jesús was born in 1965, exactly 11th June, in
Almendralejo, a village of Badajoz. He lived there with his four old brothers,
his little sister and his parents. They moved to Madrid when he was eight
because his father found a job there.
In Madrid
he did EGB studios and after that he joined the army, there he was studying
Industrial Masters while he continued his academic formation out of the army, BUP
and COU. When he finished he started to work as an Industrial sales technician.
In 1988 he married
Nieves and they had three daughters. In 1992, he was 27, and he had formed his
family. He has always loved sports, especially football, sport which he played
since his childhood, so he enjoyed the ‘92 Olympic Games very much.
