OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT

At the beginning of scientific researches different objectives are established in order to know what to look for. In the case of this Oral History project, we have proposed several objectives that we are going to expose below. We expect that the information given by our narrators during the interviews will fulfil our objectives.

Along the procedure of this project we would like know if our narrators noticed the presence of many international visitors and also if there was a big amount of security guards, police officers and so on and the measures taken to maintain the order in the city.

Since this event was a very important thing in our country (culturally, economically, etc.), we would like to find out if there was many information provided by the national and autonomic media in order to compare the possible distinctions between Barcelona and Madrid and also the different perspectives and points of view of this experience between these cities.

It would be interesting to discover if this event affected to people’s attitude towards sport.

As a final objective, we want to know more about a moment we couldn’t live by ourselves.
